Opal Dam is a protective, light-curing resin based on methylacrylate; reflects light and adheres well to tissues. The properties of Opal Dam resin provide protection of soft tissues against the effects of other preparations. It is the preparation of choice for teeth whitening with Opalescence Boost, it can also be used for etching porcelain in the patient's mouth, microabrasion, etc. Opal Dam resin is easy to remove after the treatment, also from interdental spaces and undercuts.
