Porcelain Etch Ultradent porcelain etchant is used for etching porcelain when repairing prosthetic restorations in the patient's mouth, as well as for etching porcelain veneers, crowns or inlays before their cementation.

The dense, gel-like, yellow porcelain etchant contains fluoric acid buffered so that no harmful fumes are released (which may be the case with technician porcelain etchants). As a result, the porcelain can be etched in the patient's mouth. If the material is used intraorally, it is recommended to protect soft tissues with the light-cured Opal Dam protective resin.
