MetaFix are matrices intended for class II restorations. They have a belt anatomically shaped and contoured in accordance with the curvature of the tooth. The matrix strip is made of steel with appropriate elasticity, which ensures trouble-free insertion into the interdental space without deformation and without damaging the soft tissues. This operation is facilitated by the small thickness of the strip, equal to 0.038 mm. The appropriate shape of the matrix band ensures a perfect contact point, perfect marginal adaptation and the optimal shape of the filling in the interdental space.
The matrices have a built-in tensioner (clamping ring), which eliminates the need for additional tools, and its design makes the fitting very light and provides the patient with comfort during the procedure. A novelty in relation to other matrices is the opening device, which allows the matrix strip to be broken after the procedure and easy to remove the matrix in the horizontal plane.
MetaFix is available in three sizes: small (small for premolars), medium (medium for normal-sized molars) and large (large for large molars). The individual matrix sizes are marked on the strip with an appropriate code - the number of holes on the strip indicates the matrix size.
