Application:

Model wax in dental technology is used as an auxiliary material in the production of a plastic pattern for removable dentures, temporary crowns and veneers, which are replaced at a later stage by the appropriate material of the prosthesis.

In dental prosthetics, a wax occlusion template is used to record the spatial alignment of the mandible and maxilla. Wax occlusal billets are used: in the process of making permanent dentures; when registering various positions of the mandible, transferring data to an individually adjustable articulator with the help of a facial bow; to create the so-called "Construction bite".
