Gelatamp are absorption pads (sponge) with dimensions of 14x7x7 mm containing gelatin and silver with antibacterial properties, for use as temporary dressings.
Indications:
For staunching blood after extractions, apicotomies, cystotomies and other minor procedures.
They stabilize the bleeding. They support the healing of wounds.
They prevent hemorrhages. Resorbable, sterile.
Can be trimmed with a scalpel.
The Gelatamp sterile sponge absorbs up to 50 times more blood than its weight without swelling in the wound. The wound should not be rinsed again. There is no need to use other disinfectants.
