The thin control foil with significantly improved properties consists of a metallized polyester foil (Shimstock foil) with a small thickness of 12 µm and a single-sided color coating with crushed pigment.
Characteristic:
- very good dye transfer, works well on metal and porcelain surfaces;
- unlike traditional metallic foils, Arti-Foil Metallic precisely marks the contact points;
- high tear strength and low material thickness;
- perfect for checking the contact points when placing bridges or crowns (application is facilitated by BK 145 tweezers);
- can be used alone or with tweezers.
