Biofit HD matrices are a new series of Bioclear system matrices, designed for safe, precise, and less time-consuming tooth restoration. The applied technological solutions facilitate clinical work and allow for consistent, predictable aesthetic results.
The matrices are made of Mylar film, which is a transparent, flexible polyester film based on polyethylene terephthalate. As the thickness increases, the material becomes milky and opaque. The matrix thickness is 76 µm, providing adequate stiffness while maintaining flexibility.
The rigid structure of the film makes the matrix easy to place and stable during work. The transparency of the material allows light emitted by the polymerization lamp to pass freely directly onto the filling, promoting proper polymerization. The matrices do not leave impressions or unwanted marks on the surface of the filling.
