Isopropyl alcohol is a mild organic solvent, can be used as an antiseptic fluid and for cleaning surfaces, has degreasing and disinfecting properties.
Application and properties:
Isopropyl alcohol is used in dentistry during root canal treatment.
Used alternately with sodium hypochlorite, it lowers surface tension, which increases the hypochlorite's penetration capacity - sodium hypochlorite can then penetrate into smaller diameter channels.
Accelerates channel drainage.
Supports flushing out temporary canal fillings containing iodoform.
Available packaging: 200g bottle + adapter.
