• Opalustre is a water-soluble paste for chemical and mechanical enamel micro-abrasion containing 6.6% hydrochloric acid and silicon carbide particles.

Opalustre paste enables the removal of superficial white, brown and multi-colored discolorations up to 0.2 mm, caused by, among others. enamel mineralization disorders or fluorosis. It complements the normal Opalescence teeth whitening system, but is much more aggressive than it. It is used in the case of discoloration that has not been whitened with other whitening methods. Enamel microabrasion changes the enamel structure to a very small extent and is much more conservative than the use of a composite filling.
